SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC) organized a Regional Expert Consultation Meeting on “Harmonizing the guidelines and policies for enhancing regional trade of livestock and its products in SAARC region” held on 27th and 28th July, 2021 on virtual platform.
Mr. S.M. Rezaul Karim, MP, Honorable Minister, Ministry of Fisheries & Livestock, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh graced the inaugural session as the Chief Guest.
Dr. Shaikh Mohammad Bokhtiar, Executive Chairman, Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC), and Dr. Tashi Samdup, Director General, Bhutan Agriculture & Food Regulatory Authority, Ministry of Agriculture & Forests, Royal Government of Bhutan were present as Special Guests.
The inaugural session chaired by Dr. Md Baktear Hossain, Director, SAARC Agriculture Centre and coordinated by Dr. Ashis Kumar Samanta, Senior Programme Specialist (Livestock), SAARC Agriculture Centre.
