Eight South Asian nations presented country status report and deliberated on the recommendations required for strengthening fisheries and aquaculture in the region impacted by COVID-19 regulations in a recently concluded regional expert consultation meeting organized by the Centre. The country status reports were presented during the virtual meeting on ‘COVID-19 regulations – impacts on the dynamics of aquaculture and fisheries in SAARC countries’ held on 23rd and 24th March, 2021 organized by the SAARC Agriculture Centre (SAC), Dhaka.
