A seminar on ‘Evaluation of Conservation Agriculture Practices for Carbon Sequestration and Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the Wheat-Mungbean-T. Aman Pattern’ was organized by the Soil Science Department, BAU on 23 January 2021. The SAARC PhD fellow Ms. Rafeza Begum gave a presentation aiming to share the update status of the research activity. Mr. Md. Shamsul Haque, Additional Foreign Secretary (SAARC & BIMSTEC), Dr. Md. Baktear Hossain, Director, SAC   were attended the SAARC PhD seminar as Guest of Honor. In addition, Dean, Agriculture Faculty, Former Dean, Head of the Department and other PhD fellows also participated in the seminar. On behalf of the SAARC Agriculture Centre, Additional Foreign Secretary (SAARC & BIMSTEC) and Director SAC handed over the mementos to Dean Agriculture Faculty and Former Dean of the Said Faculty. From SAC, Dr. Md. Younus Ali also participated in the seminar.
