Dr. Mian Sayeed Hassan was attended a seminar on “Evaluation of Conservation Agriculture Practices for Carbon Sequestration and Greenhouse Gas Emissions in the Wheat-Mungbean-T. Aman Pattern” at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU), Mymensingh on 24 October 2020 presented by the SAARC  PhD fellow under the SAARC Agriculture PhD Scholarship Programme as guest of honor. Prof. Dr. M. Jahiruddin Supervisor, Prof. Dr. M. M. R. Jahangir Co-Supervisor, Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam, Member of the supervisory committee and other PhD students were also attended the seminar. In addition, Dr. Md. Younus Ali, Senior Technical Officer, SAC was also participated the seminar. The aim of the seminar was to share the PhD progress and upcoming plan of PhD activity during COVID-19 situation. The seminar was formally ended by closing remarks of Dr. Mian Sayeed Hassan.

A team comprising of  Dr. Mian Sayeed Hassan (Director, SAC), and Dr. Younis Ali (Senior Technical Officer and Project Coordinator) visited the SDF (SAARC Development Fund) funded project on 25 October 2020 at Kapasia, Gazipur  to follow up and monitoring the activities implemented by Rural Development Academy (RDA). Director SAC expressed that the project performance of RDA is found so far satisfactory in compared with the other Implementing Agencies (IAs) of the SAARC Member States.  The visit was formally ended by closing remarks of Dr. Mian Sayeed Hassan.
